Clover man says he killed brother in self-defense

CLOVER, S.C. (AP) _ York County deputies are trying to figure out if a man feared for his life and was defending himself when he shot and killed his 21-year-old brother in the house they shared. Investigators said Shaye Fenske was shot once around 1:30 a.m. Thursday and was dead when officers arrived. His brother called deputies after the shooting. Authorities say the man told investigators he shot his younger brother in self-defense. No charges have been filed as deputies investigate the brother’s story. Investigators say the men lived together with their father.
