Dispute Leads to Father Fatally Shooting Son, Police Say
LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO) — Authorities with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department say a family argument late Tuesday afternoon resulted in a father fatally shooting his son at their Gaston home.
Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said the argument escalated into the fatal confrontation.
Heirberone Heava Foster, 54, is charged with murder for fatally shooting his son with a shotgun in the driveway of their home on Oak Glenn Road.
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the victim as 24-year-old Heirbrane Will Foster.
Foster is also charged with the possession of a firearm during a violent crime and illegally possessing a firearm after being convicted of a violent felony, Koon said.
He is being held at Lexington County Detention Center while he awaits a bond hearing.
Koon said the investigation is ongoing.
