Boil Water Advisory

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The City of Columbia has issued a boil water advisory for water customers of Gracern Road (from Janie Drive to Stoneridge Drive), Candi Lane and the Three Rivers Apartments.

Officials say water customers in the impacted areas should vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking.

The City of Columbia has experienced an twenty-four inch water main break, which  could possibly result in bacterial contamination of the water.   The City of Columbia Water Works is working to correct this problem.
