Pubic Safety Job Fair This Weekend

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — If you’re looking to join a proud group of people working to serve and protect the community, you’re in luck.

There will be a Public Safety Job Fair Saturday, June 4.  It starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 2:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall of the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

Teams in attendance include:

  • Fire Department- 12:00 p.m. demonstration
  • CPD Recruiting
  • Investigation Unit- Crime Scene Investigator
  • Traffic Safety Unit
  • Code Enforcement
  • Bomb Squad
  • 911- Communications
  • Crime Prevention Unit
  • SWAT
  • Bike/Segway/ATV Patrol
  • Community Response Team (CRT)
  • K-9 Unit
