Charleston Shooting Coverage: 1 Year Later

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Today Charleston and South Carolina will gather for a moment of silence to remember the one year anniversary of the Charleston Church Shooting at Emanuel AME Church.
A Memorial service is taking place in Charleston and the TD arena, where family members of victims, friends, state and local leaders will gather.
Today marks one year since nine church members were gunned down during a Bible study and worship hour at the historic church.
Accused church shooter Dylann Roof remains behind bars.
