Coroner Identifies Pedestrian struck in Lexington

LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Harry O. Harman has identified the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle at approximately 8:20 PM on Friday, January 11, 2013, as Julius Presley, age 56, of Gaston, SC. According to investigators, Mr. Presley was walking north in the middle of the road in the 3700 block of Highway 321 in Gaston when he was struck by a vehicle also traveling north. Mr. Presley was pronounced at the scene from severe head and body trauma. The accident is being investigated by the Lexington County Coroner‘s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
