Deputies: Another Alvin S. Glenn guard charged with misconduct in office

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Richland Co. Deputies say Donisha Grady, 36, is charged with Misconduct in Office.

According to investigators Grady, a former guard at Alvin S. Glenn had inappropriate contact with an inmate.

Deputies say over the past year Grady had approximately 65 phone calls with the inmate outside of her shift hours.

Investigators say she will be booked into Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Grady is the second guard to be charged in as many days at the facility that is already the subject of a federal investigation for unsafe conditions both structurally and among the inmates.
