Solicitor: Two sentenced after drugs found in child’s dollhouse
Lexington Co., S.C.(WOLO_– A spokesperson for the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office says Justin Goff, 34, and Steven Loan, 36, pleaded guilty in Lexington Co. on Jan 25th.
Officials say Goff pleaded guilty to Trafficking Fentanyl and Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child while Loan pleaded guilty to Trafficking Methamphetamine.
Both men were sentenced to 15 years in prison with no parole.
According to authorities, in early ’23 investigators with the Lexington Co. Sheriff’s Dept. began investigating possible drug activity around Peachtree Place apartments.
Investigators say they determined Goff was dealing fentanyl from the apartment he shared with Loan.
Authorities say in addition to Goff and Loan, there were two other adults and a three year old child living in the apartment.
Deputies say the drugs were accessible to the child including meth that was found hidden in the child’s dollhouse.
