Coke’s first new permanent flavor in years adds a spicy twist

(CNN)– Coca-Cola is making one of its latest specialty flavors permanent. “Spiced” is a new soda that blends the taste of coke with raspberry and spiced flavors.

Coke’s vice president of marketing said the soda was selected because it’s “all about being on category with trend and responsive to our consumer preferences,”  who are craving bolder and punchier flavors.

The new drink will be available in both cans and bottle in various sizes. Coca-Cola “spiced” goes on sale February 19 in the U.S. and Canada.
