Lexington Police searching for individual accused of attempting to steal vehicle
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)- Lexington police are searching for an individual accused of attempting to steal a vehicle, say police.
The Lexington Police Department says the attempted incident happened at Extreme Recovery on Porsche Drive on Feb, 4.
Investigators say the individual entered the rear fenced-in portion of the business and went through multiple cars in the lot before getting into a vehicle that had the keys in it.
The man left the scene on foot after attempting to drive the vehicle through the fence.
Officers believe the same man stole a Ford Ranger pickup truck in Lexington County that was later found by LDP.
