2 arrested in death of Mount Pleasant man
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) — Mount Pleasant police have arrested two people in the death of a 43-year-old man found dead at his home in June.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported (http://bit.ly/nGOAex) that Mount Pleasant police had not initially reported the death of Robert M. Weir as a homicide.
Thirty-seven-year-old Kenneth Allen Dyer of North Charleston has been charged with murder. Twenty-two-year-old Shara Dawn Greene of Ladson is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.
Police say Weir was found in the yard next to his driveway June 21, with a half-bottle of whiskey nearby.
Police now say Weir was strangled.
Investigators think the men had argued about money before Weir was killed.
It was unclear if Dyer and Greene have lawyers.
