RCSD: Man wanted for murder turns himself in

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says a man wanted for murder has turned himself in.
Richland County deputies say they responded to apartments in the 700 block of Mallet Hill Road for a call of a shooting.
When they arrived to the scene 35-year-old Kokayi Livingston was found shot and unresponsive in the breezeway of one of the apartment buildings around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Investigators say deputies rendered aid to Livingston until EMS arrived. He was taken to a nearby hospital but later died due his gunshot wounds.
Previously on Friday, Feb. 15, around 7:30 p.m., Richland County deputies responded to apartments in the 700 block of Mallet Hill Road after receiving several calls that shots had been fired and a person had been shot.
The victim at the scene was rendered aid and then taken to a local hospital. Deputies say both shootings involved the same suspect and victim from the fatal shooting on Feb. 25.
Kesean Johnson also known as “Hog” was identified as the suspect in both shooting. Detectives say Johnson turned himself in on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Johnson is charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime from both incidents on Feb. 15 and Feb. 25.
