LPD: Driver arrested for DUI after crash on Old Chapin Road

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department has arrested a driver in a DUI collision on Wednesday night.

Officers say the person who was under the influence was driving on Old Chapin Road when their vehicle rolled over and hit a power pole.

The driver was arrested for DUI and taken by EMS from the scene. Dominion Energy officials say the power pole will be replace on Thursday.

TRAFFIC UPDATE – Old Chapin Road has reopened as the single car collision has been cleared from the roadway.
