Johns Island woman wins SC meal from Lee brothers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A Johns Island woman has won a meal for her supper club made by South Carolina chefs and best-selling cookbook authors Matt Lee and Ted Lee.

The state Agriculture Department says Nora Kravec won the grand prize in the agency’s “Lee Brother Your Supper” contest.

The Lee brothers will make a meal for Kravec’s supper club using produce grown in South Carolina and other foods made in South Carolina. The contest promoted the department’s “Certified SC” program that encourages residents to buy food grown and produced in the state.

Agency officials say more than 1,000 people registered for a chance to win the Lee brothers’ meal.
