Sisters Charged In Pepper-Spray Bus Incident

school-bus.jpgCOLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A incident on a Richland School District Two school bus yesterday involving pepper-spray, has landed two sisters in hot water.

The early morning incident resulted in 21 students being taken to an area hospital for observation.

The 16 year-old and 15-year-old sisters charged in the case were arrested  Wednesday, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Both teens were charged with third-degree assault and interfering with the operation of a school bus while the 15-year-old is also charged with carrying a weapon on school property.
