COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The late Republican U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham will be remembered at the SC State House Wednesday.
Graham’s funeral procession, which includes a law enforcement presentation and an F-16 flyover will take place at 10:45am at the State House and is open to the public.

A Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church off of Hampton street.
Following the funeral service, there will be a private burial in Graham’s hometown of Pickens.

On Tuesday, the President and other leaders attended a memorial for the late Senator in Washington, DC.

TRAFFIC ALERT FOR COLUMBIA SERVICES FOR GRAHAM:

The City of Columbia is advising residents, commuters, and visitors of temporary road closures and minor traffic delays on Wednesday to accommodate the funeral processions for Senator Lindsey Graham.

Roads along the funeral procession route will be temporarily closed between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Motorists should expect delays in and around the State House and the Main Street/Gervais Street area during that time period.

Roads that will be temporarily closed are:

Hampton Street between Sumter Street and Marion Street
Washington Street between Sumter Street and Bull Street
Marion Street between Hampton Street and Lady Street

No parking will be permitted beginning 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026 through 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2026 in the following locations:

1200, 1300 and 1400 blocks of Main Street (including the 1200 block of Hampton Street)
1100 block of Assembly Street (east side to the curb)
1100 block of Sumter Street (both sides)
