National gas average on the rise

(CNN)– Spring brings higher gases with the warmer weather making people want to get on the road.

AAA reports, the national average price for a gallon of regular gas in the U.S. is $3.39.

That’s an eight cent bump from last week. In South Carolina the average price for gas is $3.14 a gallon.

In addition to warmer weather analysts at AAA say rising oil prices are also a factor for the increase.
