LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County deputies have arrested three teenagers in connection with an armed robbery and shooting in the Swansea area of Lexington County Wednesday evening, say deputies.

According to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, after speaking with witnesses and victims, investigators were able to determine one of the teens stole a gun out of a car at a gas station on Edmund Highway.

Then later that night the teens were at a home off Redmond Mill Road and shot in the direction of three other people after an argument, says the department.

“Following the shooting, the three teens ran away and were caught by deputies Thursday night,” said Koon.

All three teens are charged with three counts of assault and battery first degree and one count of pointing and presenting a firearm, according to investigators. One teen is also being charged with one count of armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The teens were arrested and taken to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
