COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s Look at Local Living, Kershaw County is hosting a Spring Litter Pick-up.

Churches, community organizations and citizens will come together to help keep Kershaw County clean.

The event is on Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

You must email the Kershaw County Clean Community Commission to register.

 

Shandon United Methodist Church is having their annual clothing and book sale.

The event offers fantastic deals on gently-used clothing and books, all while raising money for local charities.

There will be a sale on Friday, March 15, from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

 

Sumter Springfest is taking place next weekend. Several bands will perform for a huge concert.

The fun begins on Saturday, March 23, from 2 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. in downtown Sumter.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 the day of.

All proceeds will go towards the United Way of Sumter, Clarendon and Lee Counties.

 

Two legendary bands are coming to the Colonial Life Arena this weekend.

ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd are bringing The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour to the Soda City this Saturday, March 16.

Special guest Black Stone Cherry is also set to perform. The event starts at 7 p.m.
