United Way Day in the Midlands
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Get ready to enjoy a good breakfast and help the United Way of the Midlands.
United Way Day kicks off Friday, at 8am , at the SC State House.
United Way day is a time where the Community Impact Partners help people find volunteer opportunities to become a champion for a child, say officials.
Guests are asked to bring school supply items for children served by United Way partners.
South Carolina Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman will be at the event. Chick-fil-A breakfast will be served, according to the United Way.
