Local Living: Saint Patrick’s Day in Five Points, St. Paw-tricks Day adoption, Shamrock Parade

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s Look at Local Living, lots of sunshine is expected on Saturday for the Saint Patrick’s Day Festival in Five Points.
According to the Five Points Association, it takes over 800 volunteers along with police, fire and emergency services working together to make South Carolina’s largest one-day festival go off without a hitch.
Be sure to tune into ABC Columbia news 11 p.m. on Saturday to catch a recap of all the fun and the green at the festival.

Columbia Animal Services is still hosting the special now through Sunday, March 17.

The 9th annual Shamrock Parade kicks off this Sunday in Lexington presented by the Lexington County Blowfish.
The parade starts at 3 p.m. on Main Street.
