COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– To honor those killed in 2023 on South Carolina roadways the SC Department of Public Safety will host a virtual memorial service.

The virtual service will take place on Saturday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. on  SCDPS Facebook page.

SCDPS says the virtual service will include a video tribute and messages from several highway safety leaders at the agency to try to provide some comfort top the victim’s loved ones.

Anyone with a love one who passed away in a traffic collision in 2023 is asked to join the service.

Also, anyone who just wants to show support is asked to join the service as well.

A tribute to your loved one, no matter when they lost their life can be created on SCDPS’s In Memory Of webpage – https://tyler.sc.gov/InMemoryOf.
