Inmates at prison record their stories for Mother’s Day

This Thursday morning women incarcerated there records stories for their children to read along with.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Mother’s Day is this Sunday but not every mom can be with their kids.

Some are in custody at the Camille Graham Correctional Institute.

Inmates spoke with ABC Columbia that say this is a way they can make sure their children know they haven’t forgotten them.

Camille Graham Correctional is a medium security women’s facility that has been open since 1973.
