Missing monkey in Colleton County located

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — The monkey who went missing in Colleton County on Thursday has been located.

Colleton County Animal Services reported on May 27 that Bradley, a 15-year-old Japanese macaque, was found. He had been on the loose in the Walterboro area for five days after escaping his habitat.

Bradley has lived in his habitat in Walterboro for almost six years, according to animal services.

Colleton Co., SC (WOLO) —  Deputies are on the lookout for an unusual animal that walked away from its owner.
Investigators say a primate,  or ape is on the loose in the area of Mallard Street in Walterboro.

Authorities announced the missing mammal Friday morning. Area resident Kordell Brabham took this video of the primate on the roof of what appears to be a shed. The Sheriff’s Office says the owner was trying to capture it, but called for help. Authorities say the animal is still on the loose tonight.
