The GMC Crew head to Cayce's Hall of Horrors for a frightening preview

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO) — Since the late 1970’s, around Halloween, people flock to the Cayce-West Columbia Jaycee’s head quarters to spend the evening screaming and laughing inside the Hall of Horrors.  “We see about 3,000 people a year come through,” says Hall of Horrors Chair Mac Stiles.  He says that over the years, people come back because the attraction, that runs during the last three weeks of October each year, always changes, and always fun.

“Usually by opening day, we are planning for the next year,” says Stiles.  The actors, attraction builders, and even business operations are all done by volunteers, according to Stiles.  “Most of our volunteers started out as guests who come through, and decide they want to be a part of it,” he says.

The proceeds from the Hall of Horrors go directly to charities in the Palmetto State, including Camp Hope, and several others around the community.

The Hall of Horrors runs through October 31, with doors opening at 7:30.
