Apple announced iOS will allow better communication and share features with Android users

(CNN)– Some other big changes are coming to the iPhone this fall.

Apple announced Monday its soon to be updated operating system iOS 18 will allow better messaging between iPhone and android users.

The company says iOS 18 will add rich communication services support.

That will allow iPhone and android users to exchange higher quality photos, videos, and audio files.

Despite the improvements iPhone users will know they are messaging someone on an android because those conversations will still be in green bubbles like they are now.
