Firefighters warn Lexington County residents may see smoke for few days after large woods fire

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– You may see smoke in the area near highway 321 in Lexington over the next few days.

Lexington County officials say it is dUe to a large woods fire. The fire is near the 400 block of South Main Street and Highway 321 in Gaston.

Firefighters say a structure was also involved on Wednesday. According to officials, the fire is fully contained and about 50 acres burned.

But you may still see smoke for a few days.
