Here’s how much you need to earn to afford a rental home in SC

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Living in South Carolina is not cheap.

According to a report released by the National Low Income Housing Coalition, someone making minimum wage would have to work 115 hours a week to afford a modest one bedroom apartment in the Palmetto State.

To afford a two bedroom apartment, the report state’s that the renter must earn more than a minimum of $24 an hour.
