Duke Endowment celebrate the work of those who have received grants in the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– An organization known for its philanthropic work across the Carolinas is celebrating 100 years.

On Friday morning, July 19, the Duke Endowment hosted a centennial celebration in Columbia recognizing the work of those who have received grants in the Midlands.

Among those honored on Friday, the Children’s Trust of South Carolina.

Since it was established in 1924, the Duke Endowment has distributed $4.8 billion in grants.
