Deputies Search for Missing Man with Dementia

NEWBERRY , SC (WOLO)– Newberry County Sheriff’s  Deputies are asking for your help in locating a missing dementia patient last seen Saturday night just after 10pm

Deputies say Donnie Richardson was last seen walking down Lake Street toward Main Street in the Silverstreet community of Newberry County 10pm Saturday when he left his home after his family went to sleep.

He was last seen wearing a beige shirt with dark pants. He is a black male who is 5’6” tall and weighs 160 pounds and only has one eye.
Authorities believe Richardson may have gotten a ride from the area.

Deputies say sometimes Richardson goes back to his former residence in Lexington and believes he needs to go to the Piggly Wiggly. Law enforcement has contacted area stores in that chain to advise them to look out for Richardson.
