Lexington Co. man accused of child sexual abuse charges

Lexington Co., SC (WOLO) — Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of a Lexington County man on multiple child sexual abuse charges. 31-year-old Thomas Lockridge was arrested after investigators say he possessed and distributed child sexual abuse material.

The Attorney’s General Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office made the arrest. Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office, also a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, assisted with this investigation.

If convicted Lockridge could face up to 10 years for the 6 count he is now being charged with.
