Columbia Police search for ‘armed & dangerous’ suspect accused of shooting into car with his family inside

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The Columbia Police Department is hoping you can help them locate a man they say is considered armed and dangerous and on the loose.

According to authorities 52 year old Lurekus Leonard Davis is wanted in connection to a shooting that took place earlier today in the 6200 block of Garners Ferry Road. Police say Davis is accused of shooting into a car with his family members inside as well as children as it traveled down a main lower Richland thoroughfare.

Police say Davis was last seen driving a black Ford Mustang with a Georgia license plate tag of SGP-2903. Davis is described as 6’0″ feet tall and weighing around 210 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
