Local Living: Brew at the Zoo, “803 Day”, Friday Night Laser Light Show

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can attend the 19th annual Brew at the Zoo this Friday, August 2.

The event will feature craft and local beer, live music, and wildlife. Tickets are $65 for members and $75 for the general public.

It takes place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden.

Don’t miss the first ever “803 Day”.

The day will be filled with all kinds of activities including a 5K run/walk, a festival, and a city-wide scavenger hunt.

Event organizers say the day symbolizes unity, pride, and a vibrant spirit of the Columbia area.

The fun kicks off Saturday, August 3.

There will be a Friday Night Laser Light Show next month.

The event will feature music from Michael Jackson, Prince, and Queen.

It takes place August 16, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the South Carolina State Museum.

Tickets are $10 for members and $12 for the general public.
