A Holiday Tradition Returns – Why You CAN’T Miss The Nutcracker

COLUMBIA S.C. (WOLO) — It is a show over fifty years in the making…The return of The Columbia City Ballet’s Nutcracker. Executive and Creative Director William Starrett says “This is the best one yet.”
The Nutcracker, a classic tale of forbidden love, action, and even battle, all told without a single line of dialogue. “The story is told through dance, music, and expression,” explains Starrett of the ballet.
This years performance includes 31 professional dancers, along with nearly 200 local children. “I was able to cast 197 kids,” says Starrett.
The Columbia City Ballet’s Nutcracker will be performed at the Koger Center on December 10 and 11, as well as December 17 and 18. Tickets for all the shows start at $25.
