COLUMBIA SC (WOLO)–When Sammy Davis Jr. is your godfather, you are surrounded by entertainment and entertainers, which points you in a specific direction – performance.  That was the case for Finis Henderson.

Finis, who found early success in the music business with a hit record in the early 1980’s, now had perfected a niche as an impersonator of many of the legends of music, comedy, and acting he has always admired, and been surrounded by.  From his spot on Rev. Jesse Jackson and Morgan Freeman to countless Motown and Country hit makers, Finis’ show is high energy, and packed with music, jokes and fun.

“This is a different kind of show,” says Finis.  “I don’t have profanity, and all that stuff,” he says, referring to the frequent use of four-letter words often found in comedy clubs.

Finis opens for Jay Leno in Vegas, has worked with Robin Williams, and Rodney Dangerfield, spends a lot of time entertaining on cruise ships, and is in town this weekend, appearing at The Comedy House Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
