SLED Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — Summerville Police are on the scene of an “incident” on West Richardson and Old Postern Road Wednesday.

State Law Enforcement Division officials say they are also headed to West Richardson in Summerville for what they call an officer-involved shooting.

SPD officials said it happened around 9:45 a.m. and that both an officer and suspect were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
