American Airlines Plane Hits Deer

Charlotte, NC. (WOLO) — Dozens of American Airlines passengers had some scary moment as they were getting to leave Charlotte Douglas Airport in route to Mississippi Wednesday. Aviation officials say the runway was shut down for hours after the flight was forced to make an emergency landing after the plane struck a deer.

44 passengers on board the place were evacuated after the fire department discovered a small fuel leak. No injuries were reported.
