Musicians perform 2nd Sunday on Charleston’s King
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Musicians and book signings by chefs highlight the popular 2nd Sunday on King in Charleston.
During the event on Sunday King Street through the heart of Charleston’s shopping district is closed to vehicles.
The sidewalks and the street are open to pedestrians. Musicians will play on the sidewalks and there will be cook book signings by local authors and chefs at the Charleston Preservation Society Book & Gift Shop.
New this weekend are note cards, tote bags and other items being sold to benefit the Charleston Peninsula Preservation Trust.
