9 year old golf prodigy breaks records

(CNN) — In Mississippi, a young golf prodigy has tasted more success before the age of ten than many who have ever picked up a club.

With more than 90 trophies to his name, nine-year-old Charlie Magee has solidified himself as one of the top junior players in the history of Mississippi golf.

He was just three years old when he first learned the game– and he started golfing competitively when he was six.
Now he’s at the golf course five to six days a week where he practices for up to four hours. The pass Christian native just finished in the top ten of the 2024 World Championship at Pinehurst.
