Lexington County Deputies Investigating Murder, Searching for Victim’s Car

LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO)– Lexington County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a murder suspect and the victim’s car.

According to investigators, 67 year old Robert John Kobylak’s body was found in his home during a welfare check Monday night.

The body was found inside the home in the 200 block of Shadow Dale Drive, in Gaston, say investigators.

Kobylak’s car was missing from his home’s driveway when deputies arrived Monday night and hasn’t been seen since, according to Sheriff Koon.

Investigators have a description of the missing car: blue 2006 Toyota Corolla, with South Carolina license plate, MIL 958. Investigators have also been told the car only had one passenger side hubcap.
