North Korea Ballistic Missiles
Washington, DC. (WOLO) — A white house official is downplaying a proposal by a senior Chinese diplomat aimed at easing tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi proposed that North Korea could suspend its nuclear and missile activities in exchange for a halt in joint military drills conducted by the U.S. and South Korea.
The North was enraged at the drills, and test firing of four ballistic missiles this week.
