Atl Overpass Collapse Update

Atlanta, GA. (WOLO) — Three people have now been arrested in connection to a fire that authorities say caused a portion of the I-85 overpass to collapse Friday. Police believe the three individuals are homeless say they were at the scene of the fire when it broke out.

Two of the suspects Sophia Bruner and Barry Thomas have been charged with criminal trespass, while the third suspect, Basil Eleby was charged with criminal damage to property. Authorities say additional charges are pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation.
