House Fire Causes $50K Worth of Damage

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- A Saturday afternoon fire caused 50,000 worth of damage.

The Columbia Fire Department responded to a fire in the 1000 block of Coralbean Way around 2:00pm. Officials say the blaze started on the second floor of the home.

Authorities say the home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there are no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by Richland County Fire Marshal.
