Firefighters in Charleston Dealing with Bedbugs
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) – Some firefighters along the South Carolina coast have had to find temporary quarters after a bedbug outbreak.
The Charleston Fire Department says firefighters were moved to another station after the pests survived three attempts to get rid of them at a Daniel Island station.
Now firefighters at two stations on James Island are based in air-conditioned tests because of the bedbugs.
