McDonald’s e-coli cases rise to 75
(CNN)– The number of people who got sick from an e-coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s quarter pounders has risen to 75 across 13 states.
It includes 22 hospitalizations and one death.
That is according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.
Most of the illnesses related to the outbreak continue to be in Colorado.
Other fast food chains have implemented new safeguards out of an abundance of caution.
