Survey: Record number of Thanksgiving shoppers expected

(CNN)– Thanksgiving is shaping up to be a record-breaker for business.

A new retail survey predicts more than 183 million people are planning to shop, in-store and online from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday.

57% of those cited good deals as their main reason for shopping.

Retailers say they are ready with great prices and plenty of inventory.

Holiday spending is expected to hit nearly one $1 trillion this year.
