Gearing up for South Carolina’s Tax Free Weekend

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Get ready to save on those back to school supplies.

The South Carolina Department of Revenue has announced the 2017 Sales Tax Holiday dates.

The tax free weekend will be held Friday, August 4 through Sunday, August 6.

Shoppers will be able to purchase items such as book bags and clothes tax free.

There are a number of items that are exempt from the Sales Tax Holiday.
