Trump may re-evaluate TikTok ban

(CNN)– Donald Trump is signaling he might reevaluate a pending ban on TikTok.

It’s set to take effect on January 19, the day before his inauguration.

That’s unless TikTok’s parent company sells it to a non-Chinese buyer.

A source says TikTok’s CEO met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Monday, December 16.

Now the president-elect is crediting the social media platform with helping him get re-elected.
