Free Midlands Dental Clinic Helped Hundreds

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – The South Carolina Dental Association offered free care at the State Fairgrounds Friday (8/18) and the turnout was huge.

Hundreds of people began lining up well before six in the morning and stayed until services ended at six in the evening.

The event was paid for by Delta Dental, they say it is important to make sure everyone in the Midlands has something to smile about.

Since the event began in 2009, the Dental Association says it has helped more than 12,000 people.
