Bus Driver Charged With DUI on Route

Jefferson, SC (WOLO) — A South Carolina bus driver is accused of driving under the influence while on her bus route.

According to authorities, Angela Caldwell was swerving along the road when other motorist became concerned and contacted troopers.

When stopped by police, authorities say Caldwell had a blood alcohol level four times the legal limit.

While there were student aboard the bus at the time of the alleged incident, authorities say none of them were injured.
